How to Amend Your Bookings

If you have entered the wrong details on your booking, FreightExchange gives you the ability to make amendments depending on the stage of the booking.


Step by Step Guide

A. If the booking is still a quote on the Quote page:

* All information can still be amended.


1. To amend the details from your Quote page, highlight the cell you wish to change and click on the Edit button or pencil icon.

2. Update the field that needs to be amended and click Save to confirm the changes.

3. If the amended field affects the freight cost, the system will generate a requote with updated options.

4. Review all fields on the quote and click Confirm once everything is correct.

* Note that shipping labels will be generated after clicking Confirm, and no further amendments can be made.



B. If labels have been issued and the booking is on the Book page:

* Amendments are not allowed once shipping labels have been generated.

* To correct any wrongly entered details, you will need to cancel the shipment.


1. From the Book page, click on the three dots button for the specific booking.

2. Choose Cancel Shipment.

3. Confirm the cancellation request in the pop-up window.

4. The cancelled booking will appear on the Track page with a cancelled status.

5. To create a replacement booking with the updated details, click on the Repeat Booking button and make the necessary amendments.



C. If a pick-up has been booked and the booking is on the Track page:

* Amendments are not allowed once the pick-up has been requested.

* To correct wrongly entered details at this stage, you will need to cancel the booking.


1. On the Track page, click on the Need Help icon for the specific booking you wish to cancel.

2. In the pop-up window, choose Cancellation Request if the freight has not been collected yet.

    2.1. Enter a short description of why you need the booking cancelled and click Submit.

    2.2 If the freight has already been collected but the delivery address is incorrect, choose Incorrect address.

            2.2.1 Enter a short description of the error and click Submit.


* Note that changing delivery locations after the freight has been picked up may incur a redirection fee, and you will be contacted by customer service regarding any applicable charges.

* Additional charges will need to be paid in full to proceed further.
