Service Capabilities

Term	Definition
Carrier	The unique transport provider (e.g., TNT, ARAMEX) that offers services through the FreightExchange platform.
Services	The distinct transport options provided by the carrier (e.g., Road Express, Overnight Express, Pallet Metro).
Pickup Cut-Offs	The latest time (in 24-hour format) by which a booking must be confirmed for the shipment to be picked up on the intended day.
BYO & Broker	BYO refers to the ability to connect your own existing carrier account directly to our platform. This lets you access and utilize your own pre-negotiated rates and service agreements when booking shipments through FreightExchange. Brokerage means you are leveraging FreightExchange's negotiated rates. When you book via this method, you use the competitive, pre-discounted rates we have established with a range of carriers.

Dimensional and Weight Limits

Term	Definition
Max Item Weight	The absolute maximum weight (in kilograms, kg) permitted for any single piece within a consignment.
Max Item Dims	The maximum dimensions (Length x Width x Height in centimeters, cm) permitted for any single piece.
Max Consignment Weight	The absolute maximum total weight (in kg) allowed for the entire shipment (all pieces combined).
Max Consignment Dims	The maximum dimensions (Length x Width x Height in cm) allowed for the entire shipment's footprint or total cubic capacity.

Operational Features

Term	Definition
Supported Truck Types	The specialized vehicle required or available for service. Common types include: TAIL_LIFT (for heavy lift assistance) and TAUTLINER (a curtain-sided truck). Standard Van/Car OK (N/A) implies no special truck is typically needed.
Accepts DG	Indicates if the carrier permits the transport of Dangerous Goods (Yes/No).
Accepts PO Box	Indicates if the carrier will deliver to a Post Office Box address (Yes/No).
Accepts Residential	Indicates if the carrier allows delivery to a private Residential Address (Yes/No).
