Overview
The Quote Report provides summary metrics on your freight quotes. To view the Quote Report navigate to Login > Reports > Quote Report
Definitions
| Request | A quote request can be submitted through the user interface, your e-commerce platform, or via the API to generate a freight quote. If the quote request lacks essential information—such as the delivery postcode—it will not produce a quote. |
| Quote | If a quote request is successful it will become a quote. If the number of requests is significantly higher than the number of quotes this may indicate there are data quality issues or order fulfilment process gaps. |
| Quote Amount | The price displayed on the FreightExchange platform for a specific quote, including all up front surcharges. |
| Batch ID | The price displayed on the FreightExchange platform for a specific quote, including all up front surcharges. |
| FE Tracking Number | The unique identifier attached to every quote or shipment in FreightExchange. This is presented on each quote or shipment in the UI, and provided in all API responses. |
