If you require a tail-lift for pickup or delivery, you can select this from the platform. This way, the depot can allocate the tail lift truck for pickup/delivery.

With tail-lift pickup/delivery, you need to note that: 

• The freight must be appropriately packaged, i.e. skid, pallet, or crate
• Tail-lift trucks are subject to availability in areas where carriers use third-party agents. The carriers will not know this until the freight is handed over to the agent for delivery. You can raise an enquiry in the portal before confirming your booking so our team can check with the carrier if their origin/destination depot/agent can handle the tailgate requirement.

Step-by-Step Guide

Refer to the guide on how to update the tail-lift pickup/delivery requirements on your booking. 

When getting a quote:

1. Check the "No Fork-lift Onsite/Need Tail-lift Truck" in the Origin and/or Destination field. This would indicate that there is no available tail-lift at the sender or receiver's premise. 
2. Click "Confirm" 
3. Select your preferred carrier

If you already have a quote and need to update the tail lift requirement, go to the Quote page:

1. Click the Edit button
2. Toggle the  "No Fork-lift Onsite/Need Tail-lift Truck" in the Origin or Destination tab.
3. Click "Save".
4. The carriers available may change after you select this. You can click Edit on the carrier column and select your preferred carrier if it is available from the list.

If freight is already in transit, raise an enquiry through the portal:

1. On the Track page, click the Need Help button

2. Select "Tail-lift required" in the pop-up window 

3. Our team will receive the ticket and check with the carrier. The team will respond to you within one business day.
